This is part of a series inspired by travels to Turkey. I found the mosques beautiful sacred places. This painting is an imaginary temple with a garden in the foreground, in which the flowers are rendered in a semi-pointillistic style, creating texture on the surface of the canvas and complimenting the smooth blend of greens in the middle ground.
