Fifth World Rising is a 30" X 48" original oil on canvas that offers hope for an ailing world. Countering the idea that our world is coming to an end, this painting draws from a more positive and hopeful Native American mythology. In many North American tribes, particularly Hopi and Cherokee, our world does not end but reforms through five worlds, eventually becoming the Fifth World that moves us to come together in peace. It is a time when we finally come together, embrace our differences and work for a common good.
